Nathaniel C. Wood-Wilson (Nate Wilson) resides in Jefferson with his wife and daughter. His family has strong ties to Frederick County Maryland going back to the mid 1700s. He has served as a supervisor for judicial security in local government for the past 11 years. Nate has been a member of New Market District Volunteer Fire Company for 17 years and formerly served as secretary and vice president. Nate owns two small businesses and assists with operations at New Market Plains Vineyard located on his family’s 11th generation farm in New Market, MD.
Nate received a bachelor’s degree in management from Hood College in 2005 and an associates in general studies from Frederick Community College in 2002.
Most recently, Nate served as secretary and public relations subcommittee chair for the Frederick County Republican Central Committee. He is currently a member of the Hood College Alumni Executive Board.
Nate was appointed in 2017 to Judge of the Orphans' Court by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan. He is currently serving on the state Conference of Orphans' Court Judges and was designated Chief Judge of the Frederick County Orphans' Court by the Governor in 2018.
